Group Class Descriptions
Vinyasa style yoga combines a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense body-mind workout. Vinyasa, which means breathing and movement, is for internal cleansing. Each movement is accompanied by one breath. We offer a slow flow vinyasa class will hold poses longer while flowing to the breath and the power flow class incorporates more of the power elements with a faster flow and advanced postures.
Specially designed for those new to yoga or looking for a gentle yoga class. Our gentle flow yoga class is a great introduction to this ancient spiritual and physical discipline. In this class we will explore the key elements that make up the practice of Hatha yoga, including:
*Basic postures with proper alignment
*The role & importance of breath
*Techniques for enhancing a sense of moving meditation
Silversneakers FLEX Yoga
A vinyasa flow yoga class for Seniors or individuals who qualify for the Silversneakers Programs. Focus on basic yoga postures and breathing techniques. This class incorporates physical poses, breathing techniques and meditation to bring health to the body and quiet or peacefulness to the mind. This class is available to everyone, you do not need to be a Silversneakers member to attend.
Kettlebell AMPD takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 60 minutes of calorie-torching fun! This whole-body workout emphasizes group fitness and focuses on specific areas such as arms, legs, core, and cardio. Each song concentrates on a main area, while still maintaining a whole-body routine.
AMPD Resistance raises resistance band training to a whole new level! AMPD Resistance takes great music and combines it with simple resistance band movements to create a fun, effective total body workout that is safe for all fitness levels.
AMPD Fusion combines the move from Kettlebell AMPD and AMPD Resistance into a fun, effective class.
